SSC SECTION OFFICER AUDIT EXAM – 2008 RECRUITMENT
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) – Recruitment of Section Officer (Audit) Exam, 2008
F.No. 3/2/2008_P&P. Staff Selection Commission will hold on 30.11.2008, a competitive examination all over the country for recruitment to the posts of Section Officer (Audit), a Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted Post in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General in the pay scale of Rs. 6500-10500.
Vacancies/ Reservation:
The number of vacancies to be filled is 250 (UR 125/ SC 38/ ST 19 and OBC 68). Out of these 250 vacancies. 04 Vacancies each are reserved for OH & HH. These vacancies are provisional and may increase or decrease.
Age Limit:
Not exceeding 18-27 years as on 18.08.2008. (Relaxable up to 05 years for Central Govt. Employees who have rendred not less than 03 years continuous service oin regular basis as on 18.08.08. Usual age relaxation will be admissible to SC, ST, OBC etc. as per Government Orders in force.
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University as on 18.08.08.
Fee:
Rs. 80/- No fee for SC, ST, ExS and PH candidates. Fee concession is not admissible to sons and daughters of Exs. or persons from Other Backward Classes. Fee can be paid through CRFS only.
Closing Date:
The last date for receipt of application in the concerned Regional Office of the Commission will be 18.08.08 and in the case of candidates residing in remote areas it will be 25.08.08
