invites application for the following posts for its 300 bed hospital at Mumbai and RMC, Parel:

Name of the Post : Scientific Officer ‘D’ (Psychiatry)
Scale of Pay : Rs.10000–325–15200+ NPA
Number of post : One
Qualification: MD/DNB in Psychiatry/Psychological Medicine from a MCI recognised Institution with preferably 2 years clinical/teaching experience.
Category : II
Name of the Post : Scientific Officer ‘D’ (Nuclear Medicine)
Scale of Pay : Rs.10000–325–15200+ NPA
Number of post : One
Qualification: MD/DNB in Nuclear Medicine from a MCI recognised Institution.
(Total emoluments per annum in the minimum of the pay scale will be approximately: Rs.4.2 lakhs per annum at present for Class A-1 city. Pay scales are likely to be revised upwards, on implementation of the recommendations of the 6th pay Commission.)

General Conditions:
- Candidates will be called for technical interview based on their academic records and experience in the relevant field. The final selection will be based on the performance of the candidate in the interview.

any part of India in any of the constituent units of the Department of Atomic Energy. - The candidates called for interview from outstation for the above posts will be paid to and fro rail fare by SECOND CLASS/ SLEEPER or actual fare whichever is less.
- Each application should be accompanied by non-refundable crossed Indian Postal Order/DD for Rs. 50/- (Rs. Fifty only) payable at Mumbai in favour of Accounts Officer, BARC. Candidates belonging to SC/ST, dependents of defence service personnel killed in action and persons with physical disability are exempted from attaching Postal
Order/DD to their application (attach necessary proof).
How to Apply:
- There are two modes of application a) Online and b) By postOnline Application: Keep the DD/Postal Order in hand for the amount of the Application Fee. Log on to the website www.barcrecruit.gov.in and follow the instruction there for filling and submitting the Net-form. After submitting the net form download and print one copy of the net form and post it along with all enclosures as per instructions given below.
- By Post: Can be preferably typewritten on an foolscap paper should be submitted as per instructions given below.
- APPLICATION, preferably typewritten on thick foolscap paper should be submitted in the proforma given below for submitting application by Post Only.
Other Instructions for submitting Application (Online and by post)
1. The envelope should be super scribed as “Application for the post of _______________ against
Advertisement No. 2/2008(R-IV).
2. PHOTOGRAPH: A recent passport size photograph should be affixed in the space provided for in the application and one additional copy of the passport size photograph should be sent along with the application.
3. ENVELOPE: A self addressed unstamped envelope (size 24 cm x 10 cm) should be attached to the application.
4. COPIES OF CERTIFICATES: Candidates should submit along with their applications attested SINGLE COPY of certificates of:
a) Educational qualifications & technical qualifications (Mark sheets & degree certificates)
b) Work Experience
c) Date of Birth (Matriculation/Secondary Examination certificate or equivalent certificate)
d) The proof of claim that the candidate belongs to SC/ST (applicable to SC/ST candidates
only)
e) Appropriate authority regarding physical disability (applicable to persons with physical disability)
f) Proof of dependent of defence service personnel killed in action.
5. NOTE
i) Candidates working as regular employees/trainees in Government / Semi Government, Public Sector Undertakings/Autonomous organizations or any organizations which is aided by Government should apply through proper channel. In case they anticipate delay in forwarding the applications by their employer, they may submit an advance copy in the prescribed proforma.

6. WARNING: Applications which are not in conformity with the requirements indicated in the advertisement will be rejected. Mere fulfilling of requirements as laid down in the advertisement does not qualify a candidate for being called for interview.
