POWERGRID, a Navratna PSU, is one of the largest transmission utilities in the world with a pan India presence. The organization is the Central Transmission Utility (CTU) of the country and wheels about 45% of the power generated in India . We are engaged in the construction, operation & maintenance of Inter-State Transmission System and operation of National and Regional Power Grids.

POWERGRID has also diversified into Telecom business and established an optic fiber cable telecom network of more than 20,000 kms which connects over 100 Indian cities. POWERGRID has also emerged as a renowned Consultant in power sector in a short span of time with National and International clients.

The organization has ambitious plans to expand transmission network with an investment of over Rs. 55,000 crores in XI plan, i.e. by the year 2012.

• Assistant Public Relations Officer / E1 : 03 posts, Age : 30
• Assistant Officer (Library) / E1 : 01 post, Age : 30 years
• Assistant Engineer (E&T)/ E1 : 08 posts, Age : 30 years
• Assistant Engineer (Electrical)/ E1 : 25 posts, Age : 30 years
• Engineer (E&T)/ E2A : 08 posts, Age : 33 years

Fees: An application fee of Rs.400/- is payable by candidates belonging to General and OBC (NCL) category through a non-refundable Demand Draft obtained from SBI drawn in favour of “Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.”, payable at New Delhi.
