Faculty Positions:

Professor-Posts-5
Pay Scale: Rs. 37,400 – 67,000 + AGP of 10, 000
Age: Max 60 years
Qualification & Experience:
1. An eminent scholar with Ph.D qualification and published work of high quality actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and /or research/ policy papers in indexed/ISBN/ISSN numbered journals and as ISBN/ISSN numbered books.
2. A minimum of 12 years teaching experience in university/college, and/or experience in research at the University/National Level institutions, including experience of guiding candidates for research at doctoral level.
Job Requirement:
A Professor will head one or more than one Departments. Will work under the overall control of the Director of the Institute through Dean. The Professor will look after all the activities of the Department(s) under his control and will be involved in teaching and research activities. They will be acting as Chairs of their respective Departments.

Associate Professor-Posts-5
Pay Scale: Rs. 37,400 – 67,000 + AGP of 9,000
Age: Max 50 years
Qualification & Experience:
1. Good academic record with a Ph.D degree in the concerned or allied disciplines.
2. 55% of the marks or equivalent grade wherever grading system is followed at the Master’s degree level.
3. A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and/ or of research in a regular position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University/ College/ or Acredited Research Institution with evidence of published work with a minimum of 5 publications as books and/or research/policy papers in indexed/ISBN/ISSN numbered journals and as ISBN/ISSN numbered books.
Job Requirement:
o The Associate Professor will assist the Professor in respect of the Department under his charge.
o The Associate Professor will look after all the activities of the Department(s) under his charge and shall be responsible to the Professor. He will be responsible for regular teaching and research activities at NIFTEM.

Assistant Professor-Posts-11
Pay Scale: Rs. 15,600 – 39,100 + AGP of 6,000
Age: Max 40 years
Qualification & Experience:
1. Good academic record with atleast 55% of the marks or equivalent grade where grading system is practiced at the Master’s degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
2. Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidates should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC.
Job Requirement:
o The Assistant Professor will look after all the activities of the Department assigned to him and shall be responsible to the Associate Professor and the Professor. He will be responsible for regular teaching and research activities at NIFTEM.

Registrar-Posts-1
Pay Scale: Rs. 37400-67000 + 10000 (Grade Pay)
Age: Max 50 years
Qualification & Experience:
1. Master’s degree with atleast 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale.
2. At least 15 years of experience as Lecturer/Reader of which eight years should be in Reader’s grade with experience in Educational Administration. OR Comparable experience in Research establishments and other Institutions of Higher Education.
Job Requirement:
Registrar will be responsible for planning, directing and controlling finance, human resources, facilities management and administrative functions for the Institute by following NIFTEM policies and procedures and ensuring compliance to the governing laws and regulations, coordinating course enrollment and registration and managing student information system.

Deputy controller (Finance & Accounts)-Posts-1
Pay Scale: Rs. 15,600 – 39,100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 7600

Qualification:
Chartered Accountant
Job Requirement:
The incumbent will be overall responsible for financial planning and management, internal control systems and processes, management information systems and reporting.

Deputy Librarian-Posts-1
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 + 7600 (A.G.P.)
Age: Max 45 years
Qualification & Experience:
1. Master’s degree with degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation with at least 55% marks.
2. A minimum of 5 years experience as an Assistant Librarian in a University/ Educational & Research Institute/ State or Central Government Libraries or equivalent.
Job Requirement:
A Deputy Librarian will head the Library or more than one Library. He/She will work under the overall control of the Director of the Institute through Dean. The Deputy Librarian will look after and control all the activities of the Library as well as the Library information system under his control.

Assistant Registrar (Information Technology)-Posts-1
Pay Scale: Rs. 15,600 – 39,100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 5400
Age: Max 45 years
Qualification & Experience:
1. B.Tech (Computer Science/IT) or equivalent qualification or MBA with Masters in Information Sciences /MBA (IT)
Job Requirement:
The position will design and develop diverse and decentralize information technology environment that will connect NIFTEM community internally and externally. The key focus of the incumbent will be planning growth driven need assessment, scaling up infrastructure commensurate to growth and creating a information technology savvy campus.

Accounts Officer-Posts-1

Age: Max 35 years
Qualification & Experience:
1. Chartered / Cost Accountant OR B Com with MBA (Finance) from a reputed institute
Job Requirement:
The incumbent will be responsible to maintain the accounts of the institution in accordance with standard accounting procedures, will prepare annual accounts, facilitate audit and also present the financial picture of the Institute from time to time through Controller (Finance & Accounts) to Registrar and the Director.

Job Requirement:
A strong administrative function is serviced by the Assistant Registrar (administration). Qualification:
1. Masters Degree or its equivalent with at least 55% marks or its equivalent

Job Requirement:
The incumbent will have to conduct and manage all the examinations with the guidance of Registrar and Heads of the Departments, keeping in view the standards and rules & regulations and guidelines of the UGC and AICTE.

Assistant Librarian-Posts-2
Pay Scale: Rs. 15,600 – 39,100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.
Age: Max 45 years
Qualification:
1. Master’s degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalence in a grade of 55% where grading system is practiced and a Consistently good academic record with knowledge on computerization of Library.
2. Qualified in the National Eligibility Test (NET) in the relevant subject conducted by UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC.
Job Requirement:
His/her specific duties include checking Library materials in and out, Empty book drop, Shelves books, Help students and professors, keep circular records, register new library pattern.

Jr. Engineer (Civil/ Electrical)-Posts-2
Pay Scale: Rs. 9,300 – 34,800 + Grade Pay of Rs. 4200 .
Age: Max 32 years
Qualification:
1. Should possess an Engineering Degree in Civil/ Electrical from a recognized Institute/ University.
Job Requirement:
The incumbent will plan, design, implement and review facility plan; work to maintain the mechanical Electronic & Electrical Equipment of the institute, ensure the civil constructions, maintenance of capacity of the building and all other infrastructure of the Institute.

Accountant-Posts-2

Qualification:
1. The incumbent should be B.Com and full knowledge of Accounting Software like Tally, etc.
Job Requirement:
The incumbent will assist Accounts Officer in managing the internal and external accounts in the Institute across Departments, residential and hostel and external agencies as per the laid down accounting norms/ standards.

Executive Assistants-Posts-6

Qualification:

Cashier-Posts-1

1. B.Com degree with at least 2nd Division or M.Com.
2. Knowledge of operation of computers and financial packages.
Job Requirement:
Cashier is responsible for all the transactions involving cash and cheque issues for the entire Institute.

Lab In-charge-Posts-2

Qualification:
1. Degree in Food Science & Technology/ equivalent with subjects Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Physics/Chemistry/ Biology.
Job Requirement:
Lab In-Charge will be responsible for the procurement, upkeep and maintenance of Lab Infrastructure and materials. The incumbent will coordinate with the academia of the Institute in updating the infrastructure.

Lab Technician-Posts-3
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200 – 20,200 + Grade Pay of Rs. 2800
Age: Max 30 years
Qualification:
1. Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Food Science and Technology and other related subjects- Bio-chemistry, Micro-biology/ Physics/Chemistry/biology.
Job Requirement:
Lab Technician will be responsible for making arrangements and necessary preparations conducive for experimental learning and research activities. The incumbent will ensure that lab preparations are made well in advance to enable the lab activities to be carried out smoothly.
