Desired:
Graduates from any recognized university. Candidates should preferably be computer literate and / or have knowledge in Typing / Stenography.
Age Limit: 28 years as on 01-08-2008 i.e. candidates born on or after 31-07-1980 only are eligible to apply.
The age limit will be relaxed by 5 years for SC / ST candidates.
Application Fee:- Rs. 150/- Rs.100/-, in the case of SC/ST candidates to be paid by way of Demand Draft (Non Refundable) favoring Karnataka Bank Limited, payable at Mangalore, Karnataka State. Applicants claiming relaxation of Age and / or reduced application fee should enclose a copy of their Caste Certificate of recent origin in the Central Govt, prescribed format along with the application. Selection:- By written test tentatively scheduled for 05-10-2008 at Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata, Mangalore & Mumbai followed by an interview for successful candidates. No allowances / reimbursement will be payable / made for attending the test /interview.
Appointment & Emoluments:- (i) Probation will be for six / nine months (ii) Salary as per Industry level settlement (Current approximate gross salary is Rs. 9000/- p.m exclusive of other allowances such as
ca/ffeeomedical aid, hospitalization reimbursement, LFC etc.). Salary is under revision.
