Applications are invited from unmarried Male and Female Indian Citizens for Short Service Commission (SSC) Officer in Education Branch of the Indian Navy for Course commencing January 2010 at NAVAC, INS Zamorin Ezhimala, Kerala.
Educational Qualifications :
(a) BE/B.Tech. with 60% marks in Electronics/ Electricals/ Mechanical/ IT/Computer Science
OR
(b) A Post Graduate with minimum 50% marks in Physics or Mathematics.
OR
(c) A Master’s Degree in Computer Science (with Physics or Maths in B.Sc.), M.Sc. Chemistry, MA Eng., MA History
OR
(d) Master’s in Computer Application (MCA) (with Physics or Maths in B.Sc.) with miinimum 50% marks
OR
(e) Post Graduate in Operational analysis and Operational Research Quantitavie methods with minimum 75% marks.
OR
(f) Post Graduate in Mathematics with Probability or Statistics with minimum 75% marks.
Age : Between 21 to 25 years (candidates to be born between 02 January 1985 to 01 January 1989; both dates inclusive)
Physical Standards :
Height and Wieght : Minimum height Male – 157 cms and Female – 152 cms with correlated weight.
Eye Sight – The minimum acceptable standard for distant vision 6/60, 6/60 connectable to 6/6, 6/12 with glasses and should not be colour/night blind.
SSC: Short Service Commission is granted for a term of 10 years, extendable to 14 years, subject to service requirements and performance/willingness of the candidate.

sir i am not having 60% in B.Tech level
but i am having 70% in M.Tech level
now i am applying the job of ssc or not
sir, i have completed my MCA but the results by the university are yet to be published for my 5th and sixth semeister,but will be out before january 2010.I have scored above 65% for all the privious semesters.
kindly reply,to let me know if my qualifications are applicable according to the given criteria,
