109th Technical Graduates Course (TGC) (January 2009) and 33rd SSC (Technical) Course (October 2009)

Applications are invited from Engineering Graduates male Indian citizens for 109th Technical Graduates Course (TGC), Post Graduate (Non-Engineering) entry into Army Eduction Corps (AEC) and 33nd Short Service Commission (SSC) (Technical) course in the Indian Army.

109th TGC
 
(a) Engineers (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science, Electronics, IT, Architecture, Public Health Eng, Construction Engg, Industrial Engg & Management)
(b) AEC – Post Graduates (Non-Engg) – Political Science/ Histroy/ Geography/ Chinese/ Bumese/ MCA
(c) Military Farms : Agriculture/ Dairy

Qualification:
TGC: A degree in Engineering or equivalent degree from a recognised univsersity in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science, Telecom, Electronics, IT, Architecture/ Public Health Engg/ Construction Engg, Industrial Engg & Management,
AEC: MCA or MA/M.Sc. degree from a recognised university in 1st or IInd division in the following subjects – Political Science, History, Geography, Chinese and Burmese
Military Farm: – A degree in daiying or a degree in Agriculture of a recognised university with dairying as one of the subjects or an equivalent degree (preference will be given to those who hold M.Sc. degree or research in Darying or Fodder Corps)

Age:
TGC : 20 to 27 years
AEC – 23-27 years

33nd SSC (Tech.) : (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science, Telecome, Electronics, IT, Architecture, Public Health Engg, Constrcution)

Qualification: A degree in Engineering or equivalent degree from a recognised University in Civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical/ Computer Science/ IT/ Telecom./ Architecture/ Electronics/ Public Health Engg/ Constrcution Engg.

Age: 20 to 27 years.

Physical Standard: min. height 157.5 cm , better eye 6/6 and worst eye 6/18

Pay Scale : Rs. 8250-300-10500/-

Selection Process:
Initial Screening and short listing of applicants will be done at Recruiting Directorate Army Headquarters.
Selected (shortlisted) candidates will be called for Service Selection Board (SSB) interview at Allahabad, Bhopal and Bangalore for selection process in which candidates will be put through Psychological test, Group Test and Interview.
