108th Technical Graduates Course (TGC) – January 2009 and 32nd SSC Technical Course – April 2008

Applications are invited from Engineering Graduates male Indian citizens for 108th Technical Graduates Course (TGC), Post Graduate (Non-Engineering) entry into Army Eduction Corps (AEC) and 32nd Short Service Commission (SSC) (Technical) course in the Indian Army.

108th Technical Graduate Course (TGC):
(a) Engineers: 53 posts (Civil-7, Electrical-4, Mechanical-9, Computer Science-7, Electronics-07, IT-3, Architecture-3, Public Health Eng-3, Construction Engg-2, Industrial Engg & Management-1)
Qualification:
A degree in Engineering or equivalent degree from a recognised univsersity in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science, Telecom, Electronics, IT, Architecture/ Public Health Engg/ Construction Engg, Industrial Engg & Management
Age: 20 to 27 years. Born between 02 January 1982 and and 01 January 1989

(b) AEC – Post Graduates (Non-Engg) – Political Science/ Histroy/ Geography/ Chinese/ Bumese/ MCA – 5
Qualification:
MCA or MA/M.Sc. degree from a recognised university in 1st or IInd division in the following subjects – Political Science, History, Geography, Chinese and Burmese
Age: 23-27 years born between 02 January 1982 and not later than 01 Jan 1986

(c) Military Farms : Agriculture/ Dairy – 02
Qualification:
A degree in daiying or a degree in Agriculture of a recognised university with dairying as one of the subjects or an equivalent degree (preference will be given to those who hold M.Sc. degree or research in Darying or Fodder Corps)
Age: Born not earlier that 02 January 82 and not later than 01 January 88

32nd SSC (Technical) : 50 posts (Civil-9, Electrical-2, Mechanical-9, Computer Science7, Telecome-7, Electronics-8, IT-2, Architecture-2, Public Health Engg-2, Constrcution-2)
Qualification:
A degree in Engineering or equivalent degree from a recognised University in Civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical/ Computer Science/ IT/ Telecom./ Architecture/ Electronics/ Public Health Engg/ Constrcution Engg.
Age: 20 to 27 years. Born not earlier than 02 april 82 and not later than 01 April 89

Physical Standard: min. height 157.5 cm , better eye 6/6 and worst eye 6/18

Pay Scale : Rs. 8250-300-10500/-

Selection Process:
Initial Screening and short listing of applicants will be done at Recruiting Directorate Army Headquarters.
Selected (shortlisted) candidates will be called for Service Selection Board (SSB) interview at Allahabad, Bhopal and Bangalore for fives selection process in which candidates will be put through Psychological test, Group Test and Interview.
