INDIAN AIR FORCE – FAST TRACK SELECTION (FST)
Indian Air Force will conduct Fast Track Selection (FTS) at the following places on the dates mentioned against each venue for short listing of candidates for Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics), Aeronautical Engineer (Mechanical) and Meteorological branches. Training of the finally selected candidates will commence in Jan 2009
Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics)
Qualification : First Class (Min 60% marks in aggregate) B.E/ B.Tech in Electronics/ Telecommunication/ Electrical/ Electrical Communication/ Instrumentation/ IT/ Computer Science & Engineering or combination of these subjects
Aeronautical Engineer (Mechanical)
Qualification : First Class (Min 60% marks in aggregate) B.E/ B.Tech in Aeronautical/ Mechanical/ Production/ Industrial Production or combination of these subjects
Final year students of B.E/ B.Tech can also apply provided they do not have any present backlog, have secured minimum 60% marks in aggregate upto previous semester and will submit results by 15 Dec 08
Age : 18 to 28 years i.e. born between 02 Jan 1981 and 01 Jan 1991
