PUBLIC APPOINTMENTS

Applications on prescribed proforma (mentioned below) are invited by 08.01.2010 from eligible candidates for filing up the posts mentioned below on temporary, but likely to continue, in Govt. Medical Collage & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh against the categories as per details given below: -

Job Title: Nursing Sister
Number of Vacancies: 16 posts
Pay Scale: Rs. 10300-34800/- + 3800/- Grade Pay

Job Title: Staff Nurse
Number of Vacancies: 36 posts
Pay Scale: Rs. 10300-34800 + 3200/- Grade Pay

Job Title: Social Worker
Number of Vacancies: 01 post
Pay Scale: Rs. 10300-34800 + 3800/- Grade Pay

Job Title: Junior Lab. Technician
Number of Vacancies: 05 posts
Pay Scale: Rs. 5910-20200 + 2400/- Grade Pay

Application Fee: Demand Draft amounting to Rs.100/- prepared in favour of Director Principal, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector-32, Chandigarh, payable at Chandigarh.

General Terms & Conditions for Applying:
i) The number of posts are tentative and can increase or decrease. The department reserves the right to reject/cancel any application or withdraw the posts at any time, without assigning any reasons or without any notice whatsoever.
ii) The persons, who have earlier worked in this institute and their services, were dispensed with on account of misconduct or otherwise by this institute, are not eligible to apply against these posts.
iii) The application in the placed below proforma along with self attested copies of certificates/ degree/ proof of date of birth, educational qualification, caste and testimonials and latest passport size self attested photograph duly pasted, should reach the office of the Director Principal (Room No. 228 A, IInd level Block D, Hospital Building, Sector 32, Chandigarh on or before 08.01.2010 by 5.00 PM.
iv) The application received after the due date/time, by whatever mode, will not be entertained. Application not received in prescribed
proforma or not accompanied by the requisite self attested copies of certificate/degree/proof of date of birth/caste certificate/self-
attested photograph duly pasted or incomplete applications or unsigned application etc. will be rejected straightway. “Repeated
rejected straightway”.
v) Government Servants may apply though proper channel. Their advanced applications will be considered only if received through the respective Heads of the Departments with No Objection Certificates as well as Departmental/Vigilance clearance report within the prescribed period otherwise the same will be rejected straightway.
vi) Physical handicapped certificate will be accepted only issued by Govt. Hospital/Medical Board.
