Cochin Shipyard Limited the largest Greenfield Shipyard of India requires personnel for the following posts:
Ship Draftsman (Mechanical) Trainees : 18 Posts (SC-2, OBC-5, UR-11), Qualification : Pass in SSLC, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 60% marks or its equivalent with flair for D’Man ship and proficiency in CAD.
Ship Draftsman (Electrical) Trainees : 5 Posts (SC-1, OBC-1,UR-3), Qualification : Pass in SSLC, Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 60% marks or its equivalent with flair for D’Manship and proficiency in CAD.
Ship Draftsman (Instrumentation) Trainee : 1Post (UR), Qualification : Pass in SSLC, Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering with 60% marks or its equivalent with flair for D’Man ship and proficiency in CAD.
Stipend : Rs. 4000/-pm during the first year of training and Rs.4500/-pm during the second year. On succesfull training, will be offered pay scale of Rs. 4700-7480/-
Age: Shall not exceed 27 years as on 15 May 2008 relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PWD.
Selection: By Written and Practical Test/Interview to be held at Cochin Shipyard Ltd, Kochi
