Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot Gramodaya Vishwavidyalaya is a Rural University.It’s undetakings teaching,research 7 extension in all respects of rural development up to Ph.d. level in the major disciplines of Arts,Sciences,Agriculture,Engineering & Management.The faculty are encourged to take consultancy,research projects and teaching.The University follows the UGC pay scales for acedemic posts & State Government Pay Scale for administrative posts:-

1.) Professor
Number of Posts: 05
Scale of Pay: Rs.37400-67000+AGP 10000
Qualification: AICTE
Desirable:
Experience in the relevant discipline related to rural development will be preferred

2.) Lecturer
Number of Posts: 28
Scale of Pay: Rs.15600-39100+AGP 6000
Qualification:
Engineering and Management as per the AICTE.Ayurveda as per the CCIM.

3.) Deputy Registrar
Number of Posts: 3
Scale of Pay: Rs.15600-39100+AGP 7600
Qualification:
Essential:
1.) A Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale.
2.) Five year of experience as a Lecturer with pay scale in a college or a university with experience in educational administration.OR Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education.OR 5 years administrative experience as Assistant Registrar or in an equivalent post with pay scale
Desirable:
Experience in the university administration will be preferred.Working knowledge of Hindi is essential.

4.) Assistant Registrar
Number of Posts: 2
Scale of Pay: Rs.15600-39100+AGP 6600
Qualifications:
Essential:
Candidates should have post graduate degree with minimum 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale.
Desirable:
Working Knowledge of acedemic, establishment, examination or development.

5.) Personal Secretary
Number of Posts: 1
Scale of Pay: Rs.15600-39100+AGP 6600
Qualifications:
Essential:
1.) Candidates should have post graduate degree with minimum 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale.
2.) Hindi & English Shorthand and Typing passes from Board of Shorthand and Typewriting examinations,Govt. of MP. or equivalent examination.
3.) Five years experience of as a Personal Assistant Post with Pay Scale.
Desirable:
Working knowledge of Hindi and English.

6.) Security Officer
Number of Posts: 1
Scale of Pay: Rs.15600-39100+AGP 6600
Qualifications:
Essential:
Retired Commissioned Officer from the military services.
